    September 2007 Events

    The Kettleby Fair known as the "Biggest Little Fair in Ontario" is on Saturday, September 8 and offers a day of family fun including; a childrens village, dog trials, great food and vendors, and much more.

    Starlight Movies season finale is Shrek the Third, 50 foot screen, start time 8:00 pm watch the trailers and get directions.

    The 18th Annual Organic Advocates Feast of Fields showcases some of the most well known chefs in Ontario on September 16. Participants can look forward to culinary delights, VQA wine and micro brewery samplings as well as demonstrations.

    On September 22 Doors Open Ontario will once again showcase several significant heritage locations in King Township (download King 2006 Map, including churches and cemeteries (download the map.) Download King's own Heritage Map & Gallery.

    October 2007 Events

    Enjoy family, group and school apple picking at Pine Farms Orchard and take home perserves, pies, baked goods and fruit wines.

    Visit the Pucks Farm website for autumn & fall activities for children and families.

    Come to Round the Bend Farm; open for school tours, private pumpkin selection, petting zoo, corn maze, fresh produce, pies & much more.

    Kingfest is presenting a country evening event Sunday Oct 14 at the Newmarket Theater with The Good Brothers, Wendell Ferguson and Russell deCarle of Prairie Oyster. Accompanying Russell will be Steve Briggs of the Bebop Cowboys. View the poster. Tickets are $30.00 and can be purchased at the Newmarket Theatre - Newtix, online or via telephone at the theater (905-953-5122). It will be great show in a beautiful venue.

    Halloween Harvest When: October 27th from 2 pm - 4pm Where: 2920 King Rd west of Jane Street
    The King Township Museum welcomes people of all ages to their annual Halloween Harvest! On October 27th, people will have the opportunity to tour our Haunted Railway Station, visit a psychic, eat seasonal treats and make crafts! The cost is $3 per person or $10 for a family of four.
