May 2007 Events
22nd King City Antiques Show and Sale at the King City Community Centre on King Road east of the Hwy 400. Fri. 1pm-8pm, Sat. 10am-5pm, Sun. 11am-4pm. S&A Productions 416-498-8613. Some of the best dealers in Canada bring Canadiana, primitives, art, jewelry, textiles, collectibles and more. This 3 day antique sale coincides with the King Museum Antique Appraisal at the Museum on King Rd.
The King Museum holds it's Annual Trunk sale on May 5th where great bargains can be had from 1pm to 4pm. On May 7th the King Musuem host a Hertiage Food Workshop, with special guest speaker from Black Creek Pioneer Village at 2pm.
A great kick-off to the summer, the Nobleton Victoria Day Fair and Fireworks May 21st recognized as the best north of Toronto.
The Schomberg Agricultural Fair May 24 - May 27 features a Demolition Derby, Conklin rides, Agricultural Shows, great vendors, food and more.
The Dufferin Marsh Bird Walk takes place on May 27.
June 2007 Events
Celebrate the Palate and the Palette at Daniel's of Nobleton from June 1 to August 31, with a special meet the artists dinner on June 3rd.
The Dufferin Marsh Kids Camp Out June 2nd (first 10 that apply). Children get to experience the outdoors and learn about the marsh, eco systems and wildlife. The Dufferin Marsh Wine Tasting is on Father's Day weekend on June 16th. Sample wines by Chadsey's Cairn Winery, an independant Ontario winery.
The Annual Cold Creek Day on June 9th features: Retriever demonstrations and training, Environmental photography contest, Good Guys cart dogs, "Art in the Park", Making Bird Feeders from recycled material, TRCA & community groups' displays. $5 per carload.
Starlight Movies on the Lawn will feature 8 family movies on a 34 foot movie screen with professional projection and sound on July 13th and 27th. Book your season tickets in advance at sponsor locations or by credit card on the website Starlight Movies, watch the trailers and get directions.
The Oak Ridges Moraine Trail Association has planned a wonderful two day event. The "Moraine for Life Adventure Relay and Scavenger Hunt" is scheduled for the weekend of June 16th and 17th, 2007. Please check their website for all the details and sign up for this first of it's kind event.
King Township Parks, Recreation and Culture Family Biking Day June 23, 2007 at Centennial Park. The Nobleton Public Swimming Pool open from June 30 to August 31. And two exciting biking programs; Mountain Biking Programs July 17 and 19, 31; August 2, 14, 16, 28 and 29, and Mountain Bike Race Series - May 2 to August 29 every Wednesday night. Nobleton Arena Public Skating, Tuesdays July 10 - August 28, Noon to 1:15pm

July 2007 Events
Quaint, down-home Canada Day Celebration in the Village of Kettleby.
Starlight Movies on the Lawn July 11th "The Never Ending Story" and 25th "Night at the Musuem". Book your season tickets in advance by secure credit card on the website Starlight Movies, watch the trailers and get directions.
Arts Society King scheduled events include the Opening Soiree on the evening of July 15th, which follows the Heritage Tour. Free Studio Tours and Workshops July 16 - 20.
King Swings celebrating it's 10th season July 19 - 21 with Jeff Healey & the Jazz Wizards, Hot Antics Jazz from France and Mike "Bird" Stevens and the Harmonica Knights Daniels of Nobleton.
King opens it's gardens to the public with two Garden Tours with the Schomberg tour on July 8th, and as part of the Arts Society King events, the Nobleton King City tour on July 15th which includes a garden tea at the King Township Museum.
The King Museum hosts a summer concert series July dates are 22nd and 29th on the historic museum grounds from 4pm to 5:30pm. Check for August dates below.
August 2007 Events

September dates are the 5th "Bridge to Terabithia" and vote for the September 19th movie.
The King Museum hosts a summer concert series August dates are the 12th and 19th on the historic museum grounds from 4pm to 5:30pm.
Experience the fun at the water skiing and wakeboarding at Summer Ski or join the private water ski club for a summer of fun.
August 18 marks the 4th Annual Dragon Boat Festival at Seneca College King Campus. Many competitors participate in this exciting and fun event.
